Zambia

Zambia, the jewel in the heart of Africa, is often described as “Africa’s best-kept secret”. Set on a plateau 1000 metres above sea level, Zambia captivates with untouched landscapes, lush greenery and richly varied flora and fauna. Its river systems and lakes make Zambia one of Africa’s most water-rich countries. Alongside these, there are several spectacular waterfalls, including the world-famous Victoria Falls near Livingstone. Its idyllic landscapes and the warm, open nature of its people make Zambia a distinctive destination for nature lovers, wildlife enthusiasts, thrill-seekers and families alike.

Best time to travel

The best time to visit Zambia is from May to October. At this time, the climate is cooler and drier, while the landscapes remain lush and green. The hot dry season in October and November is also excellent for wildlife viewing, as animals gather around the last remaining waterholes.
