Anabezi

Zambia – Lower Zambezi

wilderness adventure | luxurious tents | exclusive safaris

Anabezi

About the hotel

Anabezi Camp in Zambia creates a luxurious atmosphere in the heart of the wild. Set in Lower Zambezi National Park, the camp is surrounded by lush nature and the beautiful river landscapes of the Zambezi. The name Anabezi is derived in part from the many ana trees in the surrounding area, which attract abundant wildlife that not infrequently wanders through camp. Within this idyllic setting are twelve luxury tents, each offering guests a deeply personal retreat. The tents are built on raised wooden decks, making wildlife viewing possible from the comfort of "home". For those wishing to step away from the pace of daily life and discover Africa’s wilderness with all its inhabitants, Anabezi Camp is an inspired choice.

Kids & Teens

For children, the safaris, wildlife encounters, walking safaris with tracking, and the many other family experiences will linger long in the memory. Children aged twelve and over are welcome at the camp.

Experiences & Activities

The camp offers a wealth of exciting experiences, including day and night game drives, guided walking safaris, birdwatching, canoe trips and boat excursions. You can also join fishing trips or cultural excursions to nearby communities.

During these months, temperatures are pleasant and wildlife sightings along the mighty Zambezi River are spectacular. Elephants, hippos and buffalo can be found in great numbers along the riverbanks.

The dry conditions make this an ideal time for boat safaris and canoe excursions, allowing you to experience the wildlife at close range. Fishing and walking safaris are also especially popular during these months.
