The best time to visit Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia is during the dry season from May to October. During these months, temperatures are pleasant and wildlife sightings along the mighty Zambezi River are spectacular. Elephants, hippos and buffalo can be found in great numbers along the riverbanks.
The dry conditions make this an ideal time for boat safaris and canoe excursions, allowing you to experience the wildlife at close range.
