Best time to travel
The best time to visit Rwanda is from June to September and from December to February, when the weather is dry and ideal for wildlife viewing. From March to May and October to November, moderate rainfall still allows for very rewarding travel conditions. The intermediate travel season includes the rainiest months, April and November.

Rwanda lies in East Africa, in the heart of the continent, and borders Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and the Congo. From Germany, the best way to travel is via a direct flight to Kigali or with a stopover in a major European or African city. Flight time is approximately 8 to 12 hours, depending on the route.
