Rwanda

Rwanda, known as the “Land of a Thousand Hills”, captivates with its striking landscapes and cultural richness. This East African country is celebrated for its mountainous regions, dense rainforests and extraordinary biodiversity, including the rare mountain gorillas. Despite a turbulent past, Rwanda has become one of Africa’s safest and most progressive countries and is now regarded as a leader in sustainability and conservation. From the vibrant capital Kigali to its captivating national parks, Rwanda offers a distinctive blend of adventure and relaxation.

Best time to travel

The best time to visit Rwanda is from June to September and from December to February, when the weather is dry and ideal for wildlife viewing. From March to May and October to November, moderate rainfall still allows for very rewarding travel conditions. The intermediate travel season includes the rainiest months, April and November.
