Uganda

Uganda, the “Pearl of Africa”, is celebrated for its extraordinary natural diversity and the warm hospitality of its people. This East African country offers spectacular landscapes, from the snow-capped peaks of the Rwenzori Mountains to the dense rainforests of Bwindi National Park, home to the rare mountain gorillas. With a rich culture, vibrant cities such as Kampala and numerous national parks, Uganda is an ideal destination for adventurers and nature lovers alike.

Best time to travel

The best time to visit Uganda is during the dry seasons from December to February and from June to August, when the weather is pleasant and the roads are in good condition. This is an especially rewarding time for wildlife viewing and gorilla trekking. The shoulder months of March to May and September to November also offer good conditions, with occasional rainfall.
