Ajman
Ajman is considered a true insider tip for a holiday in the Orient. Here, dreamlike beaches are often wonderfully quiet, allowing you to admire the destination in its original beauty. The smallest of the 7 United Arab Emirates lies directly on the Persian Gulf, along a coastline of around 16 kilometres. This sense of authenticity is especially noticeable in the picturesque town centre, once a small fishing village.
Best time to travel
Ajman is a year-round destination. In summer, temperatures can rise to 40°, but the malls, museums and more are all well air-conditioned. The best months are from October to April, when temperatures are a pleasant 25 to 30°. You are unlikely ever to experience a rainy day here – and if you do, you will have caught one of the three rainy days the emirate sees in a year.
