    About the Author

    Andrea Stadlhuber was born in Munich in 1977 and is the mother of three children. After studying business administration at LMU Munich and gaining several years of professional experience in the marketing industry, she turned her passion for travel into her career. In 2016, she founded The Family Project, a company specializing in planning and organizing luxury family trips worldwide.
    Over the course of two decades, Andrea Stadlhuber has traveled with her family to some of the world’s most extraordinary places—from remote islands to iconic safari destinations—and in doing so has developed a deep understanding of the needs of discerning families.
    In *Family Escapes*, she brings this knowledge together in a unique illustrated book that shows how enriching, inspiring, and bonding travel with children can be—and why the most beautiful experiences are usually those shared as a family.
