Kids & Teens
Children of all ages are warmly welcomed. While there is no dedicated children's programme or kids' club, younger guests have every opportunity to explore the natural world. There are, for example, more than 200 species of butterfly in the area. Children aged five to eleven may join game drives at the camp manager's discretion. Please note that gorilla trekking is only available from the age of 15. Babysitting is available on request.

Best time to travel
The best time to visit Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Uganda is during June, July, August and September, as well as Januaryy and Februaryy. These months offer the best conditions for gorilla trekking, as the trails are drier and less muddy, making it easier to move through the dense rainforest. Cooler temperatures also make the demanding hikes through the mountainous terrain more comfortable.

Anreise
Guests can use Kihihi Airstrip, around 2.5 hours from the camp by road. Alternatively, there is an 8-hour drive from Kampala or Kigali. Transfers to and from the airports can be arranged by the camp to ensure a seamless journey.
