Best time to travel
The best time to visit Jabal Akhdar in Oman is between Februaryy and April, as well as in October and November. During these months, temperatures on the “Green Mountain” are pleasantly cool, perfect for walking and exploring the terraced orchards that have made the region so celebrated. Especially in spring, from March to April, the rose fields come into bloom and fill the air with intoxicating fragrance — an ideal time to visit the traditional rose distilleries.
