Best time to travel
The best time to visit Mahé is during the transition months of April, May, October and November, when temperatures are pleasantly warm and the winds are gentle. These months offer ideal conditions for snorkelling, diving and other water sports, as the water is especially clear. The dry season from June to September is excellent for hiking and activities such as surfing, thanks to cooler temperatures and lower humidity. In the rainy season from December to March, brief tropical showers bring welcome relief, while the island reMayns lush and green – perfect for a more peaceful kind of escape. Mahé is therefore a dream destination all year round, depending on individual preferences.
