At Seaside Finolhu, children are known as "Oceaneers", which is how the Oceaneers Club got its name. At this kids' club, fun and entertainment are a promise. Through play, crafts, baking and excursions, not only children but teenagers too can explore their creativity. A weekly programme includes excursions such as "Garden Visit & Island Tour" and a "Turtle Adventure with our Marine Biologist". If a child celebrates a birthday during their stay, it is marked in style and turned into an unforgettable occasion. Captain Fin and the mermaid Lhu Lhu bring entertainment and a wonderfully spirited day.
Experiences & Activities
Kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, windsurfing and catamaran sailing are just some of the non-motorised water sports on offer. If you are after more speed, Seaside Finolhu also offers jet skis, speedboat trips and the X-Jet-Blade, which lets you soar above the water on a rush of adrenaline. Best time to travel
The months from June to November are the best time to witness the extraordinary spectacle of manta rays and whale sharks in Hanifaru Bay. July to September in particular sees large numbers gathering in the bay to mate and feed. It is worth noting, however, that the monsoon season runs from May to October, bringing the possibility of brief showers. This does not, however, detract from a diving excursion.
For those who prefer drier days and lower humidity, the months from November to April offer the best conditions for relaxation, watersports and sun-filled beach time. At this time, the sea is calm and the water crystal clear, making it the ideal period for a restorative beach escape
