Best time to travel
The Riviera Maya in Mexico is a true paradise for travellers from November to April. During these months, mild temperatures, little rain and comfortable humidity create ideal conditions for relaxed beach days, excursions to Maya ruins such as Chichén Itzá or Tulum, and activities including snorkelling and diving in the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The dry season ensures the region is at its most beautiful and allows for outdoor activities without restriction.
May and June, also considered good travel months, reMayn warm and sunny, although occasional showers can occur. These months are particularly well suited to travellers who would like to experience the Riviera Maya outside the peak season. October also brings pleasant temperatures, though with slightly higher humidity.
July, August and September mark the rainy season, with more frequent rainfall and higher humidity, yet even in these months the Riviera Maya impresses with lush vegetation and a peaceful atmosphere.
