Best time to travel
The ideal time to visit Pokhara is in spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November). During these months, the weather is mild and sunny, and the air is clear – ideal for trekking, sightseeing, boat trips and panoramic photography. Paragliding, mountain biking and other outdoor pursuits are also particularly enjoyable at this time.
Pokhara benefits from a temperate climate and is sheltered from the heaviest monsoon rains, making it a rewarding destination for much of the year.
