Best time to travel
The best time to visit Chūbu depends on your interests: spring from March to May brings mild weather and blossoming cherry trees, while autumn from October to November offers clear days and forests ablaze with colour. Summer can be warm and humid, especially along the coast, while winter in the mountain regions is perfect for snow sports and often brings clear views of peaks such as Mount Fuji. As such, Chūbu is a rewarding destination throughout the year, depending on whether you are drawn by nature, activity or culture.

Von Deutschland aus geht es meist nonstop nach Tokio, die Flugzeit beträgt ca. 12–13 Stunden. Von dort erreicht man Odawara mit dem Shinkansen in etwa 30–35 Minuten und fährt anschließend weiter in die Fuji-Region bis zum Resort. Die gesamte Transferzeit ab Ankunft am Flughafen beträgt rund 2–3 Stunden.
