The best time to visit Hakone is from March to May and from October to November. In spring (March to May), visitors can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossom season, while mild temperatures are ideal for visiting the hot springs and exploring the impressive landscapes. In autumn (October to November), Hakone becomes a tapestry of seasonal colour, making hikes and excursions especially scenic. Both periods also offer ideal conditions for visiting the Hakone Open-Air Museum and taking boat trips on Lake Ashi, from where there are breathtaking views of Mount Fuji.
