Kids & Teens
Children of all ages are warmly welcome, although travel to Tanzania is generally recommended for children aged eight and over. They are invited to discover nature and grow familiar with it. That is precisely why the WILDchild programme was created. Activities include woodcarving, tree planting, beadwork, making bows and arrows, baking with the chefs and playing football with the lodge team. For game drives with children aged five and under, a private vehicle must be booked, and walks outside the lodge are not permitted for safety reasons. For children aged six to eleven, participation in game drives and boat trips is at the discretion of the guides.

Set off on a game drive into the Ngorongoro Crater and encounter lions, zebra, giraffe and countless birds. Depending on the season, vast flocks of flamingos gather at Lake Magadi. Best time to travel
Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is best visited from June to October. This time of year offers ideal weather for exploring the crater, as the dry season reduces the vegetation and improves visibility for wildlife viewing. Days are pleasantly warm and nights are cool. The limited water sources draw in numerous animals, including lions, rhino and elephants, making wildlife viewing in the crater especially impressive.
