Mount Nelson A Belmond Hotel

About the hotel

Welcome to the Pink Lady, the icon at the foot of Table Mountain. This storied hotel has welcomed guests since 1899, many every bit as iconic as the property itself, including Marlene Dietrich and the Dalai Lama. You follow in their footsteps as you pass through the gates into the glorious gardens, sip tea, listen to the fountain's gentle murmur and enjoy the many comforts of the magnificent Mount Nelson. Your stay is elevated still further by the Librisa Spa, set across three Victorian houses, where soothing treatments, tempting sandwiches, sweet delicacies and pan-Asian cuisine together create a truly luxurious escape.

Kids & Teens

Belmond Mount Nelson is wonderfully family-friendly. For children aged 4 to 12, the kids’ club offers a range of educational games and toys. Children will find a lovingly designed playroom with cosy beanbags and play equipment. A variety of organised activities take place throughout the day, ranging from storytelling to group games. To make life easier for parents, babysitting services and additional children's beds are also available.

Experiences & Activities

Cape Town has so much to offer, and Mount Nelson A Belmond Hotel curates exciting experiences beyond the obvious, from classic car tours to sidecar adventures. You can also enjoy exclusive wine tastings nearby or explore Cape Town with private guided tours and helicopter flights. Enjoy relaxing spa treatments or play tennis on the hotel's own courts. In the four restaurants, savour exquisite dishes and take a seat at the chef's table to watch each creation come to life.
