Best time to travel

The best time to visit Cape Town extends from November to March, when the city enjoys sunny, warm weather – ideal for exploring its celebrated beaches and landmarks such as Table Mountain. During these months, temperatures are pleasant and lend themselves to a wide variety of experiences, from wine tastings in the renowned wine regions to boat trips in the harbour. A visit to the Cape of Good Hope and the picturesque Cape Winelands is also especially rewarding at this time, as the weather is clear and stable.
