Azura Benguerra
in our eyes
Azura Benguerra is a hidden, colourful and joyful paradise on Benguerra Island, with endless white-sand beaches and turquoise waters. If you would like to discover an authentic side of Mozambique without compromising on comfort, this resort is a wonderful choice. Here, luxury and nature come together in a sustainable island escape. Azura Benguerra is not only a superb alternative to other dream islands, but also a brilliant finale after a safari, for example in the nearby Kruger National Park in South Africa. One detail we find particularly meaningful is that part of the revenue from each villa stay is donated to social projects.
Best time to travel
The best time to visit Benguerra Island in Mozambique is between April and October. During this dry period, warm sunny days and clear nights create perfect conditions for a tropical island escape. Temperatures are pleasant and the chance of rain is low, making this an ideal time for beach activities such as swimming, diving and sailing.
Conditions are also ideal for whale and dolphin watching at this time, especially in September and October, when marine life moves through the waters around the island.
