Miavana offers a wealth of activities on land and at sea: dive into the 15,000-hectare marine protected area and discover untouched coral reefs and rare sea turtles. Set out by boat in search of dolphins, manta rays and whales, or embrace the adventure of deep-sea fishing. On land, you can watch lemurs, head out on walks or explore the spectacular landscape from above by helicopter. At mealtimes, discover the flavours of Madagascar: luscious mangoes, juicy limes, vibrant pink pepper and fragrant vanilla pods. Best time to travel

The best time to visit Nosy Ankao in Madagascar is from May to October. During these dry months, temperatures are pleasant and the weather is perfect for water sports such as diving, snorkelling and kayaking. The waters offer excellent visibility for exploring the rich underwater world, including coral reefs and tropical fish.

Nosy Ankao is also an excellent place for whale watching, especially between July and September, when large groups of humpback whales pass through these waters. The dry season is ideal for nature walks and birdwatching, allowing you to experience the region’s unique flora and fauna at close quarters. Dry conditions also make helicopter flights over the island and the neighbouring Maynland particularly impressive.
