Saruni Samburu
in our eyes
For us, Saruni Samburu is far more than a lodge — it is an unforgettable experience in the heart of northern Kenya. The luxurious villas, the dramatic views and the encounters with Samburu warriors create a deep connection to the landscape. Those seeking luxury with genuine cultural depth will find their paradise here. Simply unique — and deeply sustainable too.
Best time to travel
The best time to visit Samburu National Reserve in Kenya is from July to October. During this dry season, animals gather around the reMayning water sources, significantly increasing the chances of extraordinary wildlife sightings. This is also the ideal time to spot the “Samburu Special Five” – Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and beisa oryx.
Temperatures are pleasantly warm, and the clear air offers excellent visibility, making these months perfect for photographers and nature lovers alike.
