Best time to travel
The most pleasant time to visit Hurghada is between October and April. During these months, warm yet comfortable temperatures of mostly 22 to 28°C prevail, accompanied by plenty of sunshine and a refreshing sea breeze. The water reMayns pleasant all year round, making snorkelling and diving excursions ideal at any time. From May to September, temperatures often rise above 35°C, with the dry desert heat becoming particularly intense at midday. That said, those who love high temperatures and plan to spend plenty of time by the sea will still find excellent conditions in summer. For relaxed beach days, watersports and excursions, however, winter and spring are particularly recommended.
