About the hotel
King’s Pool Camp in Botswana’s Linyanti Wildlife Reserve offers luxurious accommodation and breathtaking encounters with nature. Named after the Swedish royal family, the lodge features eight spacious tented suites, each with a private deck and plunge pool. Thoughtfully designed interiors in copper and teal tones create a warm and inviting sense of place. A generous shared area overlooking the lagoon ensures you never lose sight of the fact that you are deep in the wild. A hide at eye level, where guests can observe wildlife up close, makes the experience even more compelling. The lodge offers a stylish atmosphere with distinctive African design elements. The main areas also include a library, bar and restaurant, all with wonderful views.
Kids & Teens
At King’s Pool Camp, children become young naturalists. Safaris introduce children to the region’s flora and fauna, revealing the fascinating secrets of the natural world. Wildlife encounters on land and water will have them sitting on the edge of their seats. On bush walks, they will feel immersed in the wilderness, learning to read tracks and discover the secrets of the bush. Please note that children are welcome from the age of six.
Experiences & Activities
Game drives, sunset boat cruises and guided bush walks reveal Botswana’s extraordinary landscapes to families in unforgettable ways. Other highlights include exploring the wetlands by helicopter, birdwatching and restorative spa treatments. King’s Pool
in our eyes
King’s Pool not only sounds regal — it feels it too! Beautifully secluded at the far end of the Linyanti River, deep in the wilderness, the lodge is ideal for those seeking pure stillness and nature. The southern hemisphere’s night sky will leave you utterly awestruck. The accommodation, in classic safari-chic style, is full of charm and comfort. Enjoy superb cuisine and outstanding guides, who make every safari feel truly special. We are impressed by the combination of privacy, style and attentive service that makes King’s Pool an unforgettable destination.
Best time to travel
The best time to visit the Linyanti region in Botswana is between May and September. During these months, temperatures are pleasantly cool and the dry season makes wildlife viewing easier, as many animals gather around the reMayning water sources. Elephants, giraffes and big cats are particularly easy to spot at this time. These months are also ideal for safari activities such as off-road drives and night drives. Clear air also ensures excellent visibility.
