Morning and afternoon game drives are offered in open 4x4 Land Rovers. These drives allow for close encounters with elephants, lions and other wildlife. For birdwatchers, the camp is a true paradise. On a quiet afternoon, treat yourself to a restorative massage in the spa. Culinary experiences centre on traditional recipes prepared with locally grown ingredients. Best time to travel
The best time to visit the Okavango Delta in Botswana is from April to October. These months fall within the dry season. From May onwards, the delta reaches its greatest extent as water slowly flows in from the Angolan Highlands, transforming the region into a lush oasis. Peak water levels are reached in the months of July and August . This draws a wealth of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo and an impressive abundance of birdlife.
Guided walking safaris and game drives are also ideal during these months, as the vegetation is thinner and animals are easier to spot. The cool, dry conditions and the high concentration of wildlife make this season perfect for nature and wildlife lovers. Clear air also offers superb conditions for photography and birdwatching.

The camp can only be reached by light aircraft. From Maun, the flight to Jao Airstrip takes 30 minutes. The rest of the journey is covered by all-wheel-drive vehicle.
