Yalla Nile
Egypt – Southern Nile Region
Yalla Nile
About the Private Yacht
Yalla Nile is a 50-metre private dahabiya that marries the timeless romance of the Nile with contemporary boutique design. With just six spacious suites—four junior suites and two master suites—it welcomes a maximum of twelve guests, creating an atmosphere more akin to an exclusive private villa than a cruise. Handcrafted furniture, natural Egyptian materials, soft textures and artful details tell the story of the country in a timeless way. On deck, the Nile reveals itself in all its stillness: palm groves, golden fields, small villages and sunsets that set the water aglow. The journey drifts gently from Luxor to Aswan—accompanied by service that is intuitive, personal and discreet. Ideal for discerning travellers, families, couples and design lovers.
Kids & Teens
For families, Yalla Nile is a safe, relaxed retreat—free from haste and far from the crowds. Children and teenagers enjoy the freedom to move across the expansive sun deck, watch the scenery unfold or retreat to the salon. Daily excursions can be tailored individually: early temple visits, small felucca rides, walks through villages or simply quiet hours by the water. The crew is experienced and attentive, creating an easy, welcoming atmosphere in which younger guests feel instantly at home.
Experiences & Activities
A journey aboard Yalla Nile is an elegant balance of discovery and relaxation. As the vessel glides almost silently along the Nile, you experience Egypt’s history from an entirely new perspective: exclusive early temple visits, encounters with traditional village life and the magic of the river as the sun changes its colours across the water. On board, tranquillity and indulgence await: stylish interiors, refined cuisine, intimate dinners beneath the stars and generous decks for reading, dreaming and switching off. Each stage is intentionally unhurried—a journey that feels like a private chapter in ancient Egypt.

Best time to travel
The most pleasant time to travel in the southern Nile region is from October to April. During these months, daytime temperatures usually range between 25 and 30 °C, while the nights reMayn mild and restorative. From May to September, it can become very hot, especially in Luxor and Aswan, which can make longer excursions and shore visits more demanding. For travellers wishing to enjoy sunshine and pleasant temperatures, winter and spring are ideal for exploring the Nile at a relaxed pace on a luxurious dahabiya or river cruise.
The most convenient arrival is via Cairo or—depending on the season—direct to Luxor. A private transfer then brings you in comfort to the dahabiya’s departure point. From the moment you step on board, your slow-paced and entirely private Nile journey begins.
Southern Nile Region
The southern Nile region, stretching from Luxor to Aswan, is the heart of ancient Egypt. Here, the Nile flows gently through a golden desert landscape fringed by palm groves, fertile fields and small villages. The region is shaped by world-famous archaeological treasures: the Valley of the Kings, the temples of Karnak, Luxor, Edfu and Kom Ombo, as well as the majestic Philae Temple near Aswan. On river cruises or private dahabiyas, travellers experience a seamless blend of cultural fascination and the timeless romance of the Nile. Quiet, less-travelled stretches of river create an exclusive experience that harmoniously unites ancient history, nature and luxury.
