Tiger Blue

About the Private Yacht

Tiger Blue is a 34-metre, traditionally crafted Phinisi sailing yacht that blends modern comfort with classic design. Built in 2008 and extensively refurbished in 2018, she has been thoughtfully updated to meet the highest expectations. On board are five air-conditioned en-suite cabins, accommodating up to 12 guests. The generous deck spaces invite complete relaxation, offering ample room for convivial moments as well as quieter pauses to unwind.

Kids & Teens

Tiger Blue is ideal for families with children and teenagers. The crew creates tailored activities designed around the interests of younger guests. These include snorkelling trips, kayaking, beach games and guided discovery tours on the islands visited. Children’s safety is always the priority, and the yacht is equipped with appropriate safety gear throughout.

Experiences & Activities

Tiger Blue explores the captivating waters of eastern Indonesia, including Komodo National Park, the Banda Islands and Raja Ampat. Guests can enjoy dives to discover the remarkable underwater world, or snorkel among vibrant coral reefs. On land, guided walks reveal distinctive flora and fauna, including the famous Komodo dragons. For the more adventurous, watersports such as water skiing and wakeboarding are also available.

Best time to travel

The ideal time to travel depends on the region in question:
Komodo is sailed during the dry summer months from May to October, when calm seas, exceptional underwater visibility and pleasant temperatures create perfect conditions for yacht cruises, diving and nature exploration.

Raja Ampat, by contrast, is best explored in the winter months from November to April, when comparatively stable weather and excellent diving conditions prevail.
Thanks to this seasonal change of route, the yacht makes it possible to explore Indonesia’s most beautiful places all year round – always at the ideal moment.

    Destination region

Komodo National Park & Raja Ampat

This exceptional yacht sails through two of Indonesia’s most fascinating regions: Komodo and Raja Ampat.

In the summer months, she explores Komodo National Park between Flores and Sumbawa, a UNESCO-protected landscape of rugged hills, turquoise waters and deserted beaches. The region is world-famous for its Komodo dragons and is also one of the finest diving and snorkelling destinations on earth, with manta rays, sharks, vibrant coral reefs and thrilling drift dives.

In the winter months, the route leads to Raja Ampat in northwestern Papua – a near-pristine island world of thousands of karst islets, lush jungle and crystal-clear lagoons. Raja Ampat is regarded as the most biodiverse marine region in the world and captivates with spectacular underwater landscapes, traditional villages and a rare blend of adventure, tranquillity and authenticity.
