Best time to travel
The dry season at Victoria Falls runs from May to September. During these months, the weather is pleasant, with warm days and cool nights. This is also an ideal time for safaris in the nearby national parks, thanks to the excellent wildlife-viewing conditions. If you would like to experience Victoria Falls in its fullest glory, March to May is ideal. For less spray and better visibility, June to August is best. For adventure activities and exploring the geological formations, September to November is recommended.
From Germany, the flight time to Victoria Falls is approximately 11 hours. From there, a short transfer leads to the lodge, located around 40 km from Victoria Falls.
Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is one of the world’s most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its spray rises up to 300 metres into the air and can be seen from as far as 30 kilometres away. Stretching along the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, the falls promise unforgettable experiences, thrilling activities and breathtaking views for the whole family.
A walk along the cliffs offers dramatic views of the roaring falls and radiant rainbows in the spray – a sight that delights children and adults alike. A sunset cruise on the Zambezi invites you to take in the breathtaking scenery while observing hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat. For adventurous families, white-water rafting on the Zambezi delivers pure adrenaline and exhilaration. The Victoria Falls Rainforest gives children the chance to discover the region’s rich flora and fauna and experience the raw power of the falls at close range.
An absolute highlight: a helicopter flight over the falls, offering incomparable panoramic views and unforgettable memories for the whole family.
