The Lodge in Verbier, Switzerland, is a luxurious mountain retreat from Sir Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition. Set at 1,500 metres in Valais, it offers spectacular views across the Swiss Alps and is a perfect retreat in every season. The chalet accommodates up to 18 adults in nine stylishly designed bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and modern comforts. For families, a cosy bunk room is also available, sleeping up to six children. Highlights include a heated indoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a gym, steam room and a party space with pool table and big screen.

Best time to travel
From late June to mid-September, the weather is at its warmest and perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling. For winter sports enthusiasts, the period between December and May is ideal, with Februaryy offering the most hours of sunshine. And for culinary pleasures, harvest time in September and November is especially appealing. So in Valais, every season is the “right time to travel”!
Travel is via the international airports of Geneva or Zurich, followed by an approximately 2-3-hour drive or train journey to Verbier. Alternatively, a helicopter transfer directly to the lodge can be arranged.
