Best time to travel
Saalbach-Hinterglemm is an excellent destination all year round. In winter, it offers ideal conditions for skiing and tobogganing. In spring, summer and autumn, the area draws active travellers for hiking, mountaineering and mountain biking.
Travel is via Salzburg International Airport, followed by an approximately 1.5-hour drive to Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Alternatively, arrival by train to the nearby station in Zell am See is also possible.
