My Time at Velaa Private - A Travelogue

My time in the Maldives: sandy beach, turquoise sea & exciting adventures at the Kids Club on Velaa Private Island

This summer I was able to experience something very special: I spent a few weeks on Velaa Private Island, an exclusive retreat in the Maldives. In addition to the dreamlike backdrop of white beaches and turquoise blue water, I had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the Kids Club Lha Velaa and get to know the real "Velaa feeling".

A truly dreamlike island...

Velaa is the epitome of what you would expect from the Maldives: peace, privacy and absolute exclusivity. Often you really feel completely alone on the island (even though it's not that big).

Then there are the gleaming white beaches, where you have to look twice to believe they are real, and the lush, green nature everywhere. The island offers endless possibilities: from restaurants and sporting activities to special experiences and an extensive wellness program.

The whole thing is rounded off by the unique butler service, where the motto "Anything is possible" is truly lived. On Velaa, you are pampered lovingly and unobtrusively so that you immediately feel at home in paradise (from the very first second)!

Why I love it so much...

My time on Velaa has left its mark on me in a very special way. The island exudes such a unique atmosphere that it's hard to put it into words. You immediately feel at home, and nowhere else have I felt such "inner peace".

Velaa really is a place where you can leave all your worries behind, simply enjoy yourself and let yourself be infected by the good mood, the relaxation and the special atmosphere. Here you automatically immerse yourself in the real Velaa feeling. I am infinitely grateful for this experience and can hardly wait to come back!
