Flights from Germany to Lima take around 14–16 hours, often with one stopover. From Lima, there is a flight to Cusco of around 1.5 hours, where the journey aboard the Andean Explorer begins.
After boarding in Cusco, your luxurious rail journey through the Peruvian Highlands begins. As the train travels through the highlands, enjoy a gourmet lunch and watch the sun set over the Andes. The day ends with an exquisite dinner on board.
In the morning, take a boat trip on Lake Titicaca, followed by a guided tour of the remarkable rock necropolis of Sillustani. Back on board, enjoy lunch as the train continues its journey towards Arequipa.
After a final breakfast on board, you arrive in Arequipa, where your unforgettable journey comes to an end. Before continuing onwards, you have the opportunity to explore the city on a short walking tour.
