Best time to travel
The best time to travel this route is between May and October, during the dry season in Zambia and Malawi. At this time, temperatures are pleasant and conditions are ideal for safari activities as well as beach stays by Lake Malawi. Wildlife viewing is particularly rewarding, as the vegetation is less dense and animals gather more frequently around water sources.

how to get there
Travel to Zambia is usually via Lusaka, the country’s capital, or Livingstone, close to Victoria Falls. Your journey begins at Tongabezi Lodge, around 30 minutes from Livingstone. From there, continue by charter flight to Anabezi Camp in Lower Zambezi National Park. Afterwards, fly on to Chinzombo Lodge in South Luangwa National Park. The journey concludes with a flight to Malawi to reach Kaya Mawa Resort on Likoma Island in Lake Malawi.
