Best time to travel
The best time for this journey is during our winter, from December to March, when the weather in Tanzania and Zanzibar is warm and dry. At this time in the Serengeti, you can witness the spectacular calving season of the wildebeest, when thousands of young animals are born and wildlife activity is at its most dramatic. Mnemba Island also offers ideal conditions for snorkelling, diving and relaxed days on white-sand beaches. Alternatively, June to October is also an excellent time to travel, when the dry savannah allows for outstanding wildlife viewing.
