    Itinerary

    The lodge

    Arijiju

Set within Kenya’s Borana Conservancy, Arijiju combines minimalist luxury with sustainable design. Inspired by Ethiopia’s rock-hewn churches, its architecture is crafted from local stone and timber, complemented by solar energy. The main house comprises three bedroom suites, a herb and lavender garden, generous living areas, a kitchen and a cinema. A terraced pool area with loungers and a pool bar invites long, languid moments of relaxation. Two additional private guest suites, together with a wellness centre featuring a gym, yoga platforms and a hammam, complete the lodge.

    The region

    Laikipia

Kenya’s Laikipia region is home to one of East Africa’s most important conservation areas, stretching across a vast savannah landscape. It is home to an extraordinary array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes and the rare Grevy’s zebra, as well as the black (“black”) and white (“white”) rhinoceros. Laikipia offers distinctive safari experiences, where visitors can enjoy both traditional game drives and walking safaris. Particularly memorable are experiences such as tracking lions with expert guides or visiting local villages to learn more about Samburu and Maasai culture.

For families, Laikipia is an exceptional destination, with special programmes such as the “Juneor Ranger” and interactive wildlife encounters that will captivate children too. For many, the highlight is the chance to stay in luxurious, eco-conscious lodges and watch wildlife directly from the terrace.

    The private home

    Sirai Beach House

Sirai Beach House is an exclusive sanctuary on the Kenyan coast, where luxury and privacy exist in perfect harmony. Set within lush tropical gardens, it sits high on a cliff with breathtaking views across the Indian Ocean. Its six individually designed suites, each with its own sea view, promise the utmost comfort and elegance. A 25-metre infinity pool, private wine cellar and in-house spa complete the experience. A dedicated team ensures every stay is truly unforgettable.

    The region

    Kilifi

Kilifi, set on the Kenyan coast between Mombasa and Malindi, is known for its palm-fringed beaches, turquoise waters and rich cultural heritage shaped by the Swahili trading routes. The region offers a warm tropical climate and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for restorative days away.

For families, Kilifi is especially appealing thanks to the many activities on offer, from snorkelling and sailing to kayaking in sheltered bays. Children can discover the underwater world on coral reef excursions, while teenagers can enjoy adventures such as sandboarding or cycling along the beach. Local culture and history, experienced through villages and historic sites, add an engaging and enriching dimension for all ages.
