The Grand Australian Journey
About this guided tour
The Grand Australian Journey brings together some of Australia’s most exceptional lodges in a stylish itinerary through strikingly varied landscapes. From Perth, travel into the Red Centre to Uluru, then onward to the tropical rainforest near Port Douglas and the Great Barrier Reef. A further exclusive nature experience follows in the Queensland Outback before the journey comes to a relaxed close in Sydney. The carefully chosen accommodation is defined by comfort, remarkable settings and immersive encounters with nature – perfect for those wishing to discover Australia in depth, yet at an unhurried pace.
Kids & Teens
This journey is well suited to families with children from around age 10, especially those with an interest in nature and active experiences. Many of the stops offer rewarding experiences such as snorkelling, small boat adventures, hikes and wildlife encounters. The lodges tend to be calm and refined, so there is usually no traditional kids club – but plenty of space for meaningful time together. Older children and teenagers in particular benefit from the sheer variety of landscapes and experiences between Outback, rainforest and reef.
