About the cruise ship
Heritage Line Violet was built in 2009 and is the youngest ship in Heritage Line’s "Three Sisters" fleet. At 38 metres long and 10 metres wide, she accommodates a maximum of 12 guests in six generous suites. The ship’s design combines traditional Asian junk elements with French Indochinese style, reflected in polished wooden floors, opulent fabrics and carefully selected artworks. On board, guests can enjoy amenities including a restaurant with bar, a lounge with library, a spa, a sauna, a gym and a sun deck with bar.

Heritage Line Violet is primarily designed for adults and couples seeking a peaceful and luxurious cruise experience. Children over 5 years old are welcome on board, although there are no dedicated facilities or programmes for children and teenagers.
Experiences & Activities
While cruising through Halong Bay, Heritage Line Violet offers a variety of activities designed to reveal the region’s natural beauty and cultural depth. The day begins with Tai Chi on the sun deck, followed by a Vietnamese cooking class. Guests can discover hidden lagoons by kayak or visit the floating village of Cua Van. A guided tour of Tien Ong Cave reveals prehistoric stalactites, and a visit to a pearl farm offers insight into pearl cultivation. In the evening, enjoy cocktails such as "The Heritage" on the sun deck, unwind in the spa and savour a private dinner beneath the stars.

After arriving in Hanoi, you are transferred to Halong Bay. On board Heritage Line Halong Bay, enjoy lunch overlooking the scenic landscape as your exploration of the bay begins.
Explore Halong Bay and visit impressive limestone formations and caves. You can also go kayaking, swimming and visit a fishing village. Round off the evening with a fine dinner on board.
In the morning, continue through Halong Bay, with one final chance to admire the breathtaking scenery. Afterwards, disembarkation follows, along with your transfer back to Hanoi or onward to your next destination.

The flight from Germany to Hanoi takes around 12 hours. From Hanoi Airport, a transfer takes you to Halong Bay, where embarkation takes place.
