About the cruise ship
Heritage Line Ginger is a luxurious boutique cruise ship that sails through the less-travelled Lan Ha Bay, an extension of Vietnam’s famed Halong Bay. With just 12 spacious suites, all with private balconies, Ginger offers an exclusive and intimate cruising experience. The ship’s design blends traditional Vietnamese junk elements with contemporary touches, reflected in warm wooden floors, marble bathrooms and finely crafted details. During its cruise through Lan Ha Bay, Heritage Line Ginger offers a range of experiences to immerse guests in the region’s natural beauty and culture: begin the day with a restorative Tai Chi session on the sun deck, followed by a visit to the remote Viet Hai village on Cat Ba Island, where guests can explore untouched nature and local life by bicycle or electric cart. Back on board, an interactive cooking class awaits, where you will learn how to prepare Vietnamese specialities. The second day leads to idyllic Ao Ech Bay, where kayaking and swimming among striking limestone formations are on the agenda. Between activities, guests can unwind in the spa, cool off in the pool or enjoy a good book in the library. The culinary experience on board is rounded off with à la carte menus and the option of dining on your private balcony.

Upon your arrival in Hanoi, you will be transferred to Halong Bay. On board Heritage Line Halong Bay, you will enjoy lunch overlooking the picturesque scenery and begin your exploration of the bay.
You will explore Halong Bay and visit striking limestone formations and caves. You may also go kayaking, swim and visit a fishing village. The evening draws to a close with a refined dinner on board.
In the morning, you continue through Halong Bay, with one last chance to admire the breathtaking scenery. Afterwards, disembarkation follows, along with your transfer back to Hanoi or onward to your next destination.
