A family trip along the three fingers of Chalkidiki - a travelogue by Sandra Wimmer

This summer, our family vacation took us to Greece, to the famous "three fingers" of Halkidiki. Each of the peninsulas has its very own soul, and it is precisely this diversity that makes the region so special.

📍 Kassandra - lively, well-developed, with numerous resorts and a vibrant flair. We started our trip here at the Sani Club and Ikos Olivia.

📍 Sithonia - close to nature and peaceful, lined with pine forests, small bays and an authentic ambience. Our stops here were the Ekies All Senses Resort and the Danai Beach Hotel.

📍 Athos - characterized by the spiritual charm of the Holy Mountain, only partially accessible, but with a unique flair. Here we enjoyed the Eagles Villas in a fantastic location.

Three coasts, three atmospheres, countless impressions - and for us, a trip that we as a family will not soon forget.

Our first stop: Sani Club

Our trip to Greece started at the Sani Club, and we knew as soon as we arrived that it would be easy to feel at home here. The resort is slightly elevated above the sea, nestled in a quiet and green setting, and offers just the right mix of privacy and small amenities to make a vacation with children more relaxing.

Our favorite were the beachfront bungalows, newly renovated and just a few steps from the beach. Walking barefoot on the warm sand in the morning while the children ran towards the water full of energy was one of those moments that you immediately save.

Whether by the large pool with a view of the sea or on a walk through the grounds - this feeling of lightness quickly set in everywhere. We particularly remember the evening in the Ouzerie, where we really got into the vacation mood for the first time with Greek specialties and a fantastic view.

Last but not least: finishing at Eagles!

We love the fantastic location of this villa resort, where luxury meets the beauty of nature. The idyllic setting with panoramic views and the modern villas offer families plenty of privacy, while all the amenities of the nearby Eagles Palace can be used at the same time.

The resort also leaves nothing to be desired in culinary terms: In the restaurants, exquisite dishes are always enjoyed in breathtaking surroundings. A special highlight is the location of the villas on the third finger of Chalkidiki, from where you can go on fantastic yacht trips around the famous Mount Athos.

Particularly exciting for the children is the chance to watch dolphins during the tour - an experience they will not soon forget.

One thing is certain for us: we won't forget this trip in a hurry.

Greece impresses with its unique diversity - lively resorts, quiet bays, hidden luxury villas - all surrounded by beautiful nature.

Halkidiki is the perfect destination for families, combining adventure, relaxation and unforgettable moments!
