Best time to travel
The ideal time for a family journey through Bhutan is between March and June, as well as September and November. During these months, temperatures are pleasant, the air is clear and the landscapes are especially striking: spring brings rhododendrons into bloom in the mountains, while autumn dazzles with bright blue skies and golden rice fields. These periods are perfect for walking, wildlife viewing and visits to monasteries, including the legendary Tiger’s Nest, without trails becoming overly muddy or passes blocked by snow.
