We spend our honeymoon on an unforgettable journey - from iconic Los Angeles to dreamy island hopping in Hawaii.
From spectacular landscapes and exciting helicopter flights to relaxing days on paradisiacal beaches and the legendary Hollywood Hills: this trip was a very special, unique experience for us, full of adventure, nature and magical moments.
What better place to start the honeymoon than Los Angeles: the place where even the morning coffee run looks like a scene from a Hollywood romance.
We spent three nights in Beverly Hills, a quiet and well-kept neighborhood that proved to be the ideal base for our explorations.
One of our highlights was a walk along the world-famous Rodeo Drive, which almost made us feel like we were in a movie. Attending a baseball game was also a special experience - the exuberant atmosphere in the stadium was completely different to a soccer match in Germany and immediately got us involved.
Of course, the Hollywood Walk of Fame was not to be missed, nor was a drive through the impressiveHollywood Hills. We also particularly remember the bike tour along the coast from Venice Beach to Santa Monica and a short hike with breathtaking views to the legendary Hollywood Sign.
A helicopter flight over Waimea Canyon was one of the most impressive experiences of our time on Kauaʻi. The landing at Manawaiopuna Falls, better known to many as "Jurassic Park Falls", was particularly memorable. From there, the flight took us along the breathtaking Nā Pali Coast - full of anticipation for the next day, when we would explore this spectacular coastline by boat.
The boat tour took us past picturesque cliffs and through mysterious caves to a fantastic snorkeling spot. After a delicious lunch, we made our way back - but the real highlight awaited us first: dolphins suddenly appeared next to our boat and put on a little show - a magical moment that we will remember forever.
Other impressive natural wonders on Kauaʻi were the Wailua Falls, a double waterfall that plunges from a height of around 24 meters into a lush valley, as well as Tunnels Beach and Hanalei Bay, which enchant with their unique beauty. The Red Dirt Falls in Waimea Canyon, whose bright red earth is characterized by oxidized iron, was also particularly fascinating.
Finally, on the Waimea Canyon Trail , we enjoyed breathtaking views of the so-called "Grand Canyon of the Pacific" - the perfect end to our Kauaʻi adventure.
Our honeymoon trip to Hawaiʻi was a dream come true for me - and I can wholeheartedly recommend this trip to anyone. Whether as a couple or with the whole family: with the right planning, this experience will be an unforgettable adventure!
Four nights per island are ideal for discovering the most important highlights in a relaxed way and fully enjoying the unique atmosphere of each island. A rental car is essential, as the drives through the breathtaking landscape are an experience in themselves. A combination of three islands is particularly recommended, as each has its own unique landscape, special flair and a wide range of offers. This makes each island a unique highlight of your trip.
Depending on the duration of your trip, the interests of your family and the age of the children, I will be happy to advise you personally in order to put together the ideal island selection for your dream trip.
